On Friday, it is The Fernwood Festival. See the homework page for song lyrics if you would like to practise at home before Friday. As well as wearing your own festival clothing, please bring in suncream and a sun hat as we will be outside all afternoon enjoying music and dancing!

Thank you for your continued support,

We all enjoyed eating our pizzas last week and we have started to write speeches to persuade people to reduce their plastic use.  This week, we will be visiting children in Years 2 and 3 to perform our speeches and spread the word about the effects of plastic pollution. We will also be writing letters to local shops and supermarkets to raise awareness of single use plastic.

On Monday and Tuesday, we have some art specialists in school who will be working with children in Year 4 on an art project.  Look out for photos on the website to see what they get up to.

Class homework this week is to bring in a shoe or cereal box for making an Anglo Saxon musical instrument.

Please pop in on Tuesday between 3:30pm and 6:00pm to see some of the work your child has been doing in Year 4. You can also visit their new classroom to see what they will be getting up to in Year 5.
