Read with Us Afternoon
Year 1 invited our grown ups into our classes to share a story with our friends. It was great fun!
We designed a salad face in DT. We learnt how to cut and chop vegetables and had lots of fun creating our salad faces. We tried lots of new foods!
We all had lots of fun exploring Sherwood Pines and creating art in the natural environment in the style of Andy Goldsworthy.
In our Enrichment afternoon on Thursday's the 'Magical Moo Moo Bird' has visited the Woodland area. The Year 1's have worked hard to make some magical nests to keep her warm throughout the winter.
They have also learnt lots about British Birds and have made bird feeders to take home and hang in their gardens.
Can you spot some British birds in your garden and tell Mrs Wakeling and Mrs Tomlinson?
We have been learning all about the senses this week. Here are some pictures of some children using their sense of taste!
