Year 3 Week 3 Homework Due 2.2.18
This week in literacy we have been looking at poetry. Have a look at ‘The Sound Collector’ by Roger McGough.
We would like you to imagine that the Sound Collector has visited your house. What sounds would they collect? Can you make the 2nd and 4th lines rhyme?
Here is an example
The clattering of the plates
The humming of the hoover
The rushing of the taps
The moaning of the cat when I try to move her.
We are looking forward to reading your poems,
Year 3 Team
