Our Year 2 cohort is made up of five classes: Dolphins, Penguins, Seals, Turtles and Whales.  

The teachers are as follows:

Penguins - Mrs Kyte

Dolphins - Mrs Bonella and Mrs Zafar

Reading:
We would like to encourage you to read with your child as often as possible.  They will bring home a reading book and a 'Borrowed Book' for you to share together or with other family members. We encourage reading at home 4 times a week and the children will be rewarded for this at school. Every Friday in Wow Assembly, the class with the highest number wins 'Moonlight' for a week – our lovely reading owl.  Who will win this week?

Maths: 

Please access TT Rockstars and NumBots at home every week. This will help to improve fluency in mathematics. The username and password are the same for both, and it is the same every year. Please see your child's class teacher if you are unsure. 

PE:
Each class will have an indoor and an outdoor PE slot each week. Please ensure they come to school in PE kit on these days. See PE days below:
