Parents and Carers please find your child's reading books in their book bag. Please try your best to record their reading 4 times a week in their reading diary. Teachers will check this weekly; they will receive a sticker and the class have the chance of winning 'Moonlight', our lovely reading owl.

Spellings

Your child will have a list of either 5 or 8 spellings depending on their spelling accuracy in class. Please help your child to learn these (you do not need to return the spelling sheet, you may practise spelling them in any way your child learns best). They will be tested every Friday.

Here are the Common Exception words for Year 1 and Year 2 that the children have to learn.
