Christmas Coffee Morning

Week 3 of a busy half term! Well done for all of your writing last week based on the survival story. 

On Friday this week, you may come to school dressed in your own clothes and bring a donation for the food bank linked to out learning about how different religious groups work alongside charities. In the afternoon, Mr Ward is going to be coming into school to talk about his work with the food bank. Your support is much appreciated.

What we are learning this week?

In English, we are beginning a unit of work based on Hansel and Gretel told by Neil Gaimen. This week we will be exploring what makes a fairy tale before planning our own next week. 

In maths, we are continuing our work on the fractions topic, learning all about multiplying and dividing fractions. 

The rest of the subjects:

Geography: We are learning about in impact of deforestation. 

Computing: We are learning about how to use TinkerCad to create 3D models. 

PE: We are learning about accuracy with shots when playing table tennis. 

Art: We are having a go at creating different stitches linked to our environmental art topic. 

Music: We are continuing to learn the recorder - focussing on the note C. 

RE: We are learning how religions live harmoniously within the same community.
