Autumn Term

Week beginning 21.9.2020

Hi Team 6,

Last week we had a great week learning about the chronology of British History, the difference between drugs and alcohol, the chronology of 20 century music, the parts of the eye and how we see and the how the story of Abraham reflects values and belief of the Jewish religion. 

This week we are learning about:

History: To understand the factors that contributed to the start of WW2.

RE: To use religious concepts to understand the importance of the Torah and the Star of David.

Art: To use different shades of pencils to create different tones and lines in an image to represent the war.

P.E: To explore a range of jumps and landings. To combine and link movements.

Games: To practise dribbling skills

Music: To understand what Rock ‘n’ Roll music is.

French: To say what they like and dislike.

Literacy – We will continue to study a Boy in the Striped Pyjamas with a focus on describing Lieutenant Kotler. We will be developing your use of language as well as developing a creative style and flair.

Maths: We will be focusing on the 4 operations of numbers up to 4 digits.
