Class homework - due in Thursday 3rd October
This week we have researched and created fact files all about Adolf Hitler. Your homework is to research another powerful leader of World War Two and present your ideas in a creative way: biography, poster, fact file, power point etc.
You will have two weeks to complete this homework. The first week you could collect the information; the following week you could write it up – it’s completely up to you.
Leaders you could research: Winston Churchill (United Kingdom); Joseph Stalin (Soviet Union); Charles de Gaulle (France); and Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman (United States). The Axis powers were led by Adolf Hitler (Germany), Benito Mussolini (Italy), and Hideki Tojo (Japan).
We look forward to reading your findings!
Maths homework - due in Thursday 19th September
Today your child has been given their new maths homework books. We introduced this during the parents' meeting on Wednesday. Your child will need to work through the pages that their teacher has directed them to. Please do these pages only.
The books are to consolidate learning that has taken place in their maths group that week.

Miss Cronin's maths group - pages 3, 4 and 9

As mentioned on Wednesday, these will be peer marked as the class teacher goes through the questions every Friday and addresses any misconceptions. It is important that every child remembers to bring them in on Thursday ready for this session.
Pop and see one of us if you have any questions.
