Easter - week beginning 6th April
Hello lovely Year 3s,
Team 3 have put together some activities for you to have a go at this week if you get time. They are very eggciting! Have an eggcellent time trying them out!
Story time with David Walliams! David Walliams reads one of his books at 11 o’clock every morning (you can listen to it after that time, if you miss it).
Get comfy and listen to some of ‘The World’s Worst Children’....they are truly terrible!
Draw a pop up Easter surprise using this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDl3PXioJ1s. We have tried it, it works!
Create an Easter hat for Mrs Orme’s competition.
Use what you have around the house and then don’t forget to post a picture on our school Twitter page: @Fernprimary
Read the Easter Story here to remind you of the Christian meaning of Easter: https://www.topmarks.co.uk/easter/easterstory.aspx
You could even create a comic strip of the Easter story.
Write an Easter acrostic poem. Can you think of a phrase or sentence for each letter rather than just a word?
Design your own Easter Egg. What will you call it? Will it have a hidden surprise in the centre? How will yours be different to ones you can already buy in the shops? See the link to a blank egg template below.
Research the Easter symbols and create a poster to show what they are and what they mean.
Bake some Easter biscuits. You can use this recipe https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/easter_biscuits_37686 or any one you find online.
Don't forget to keep active with Joe Wicks every morning!
Have an egg-stra fun Easter Holiday!
We are missing you all.
Enjoy your week of learning!
